Home win against Kilmanagh

St. Canices 6-9. Kilmanagh 0-2
Home win against Kilmanagh
After a well contested first half, we eventually gained a comprehensive victory over a gallant Kilmanagh in sunny James Park today.
Our backs were under heavy pressure in the opening half. Ronan Lavelle made a number of good first half stops, including one from behind the line!! Our full back line was solid, and Liam Moore gave a man of the match performance throughout.
David Conway and his midfield partner Sean Maher played really well, while our young forwards showed their class more and more as the game progressed. We were short a few today through injury, and the competition for places is already heating up early in the season.
